My mission is to create kitchen knives without the use of virgin materials.
In 2017 I had the idea to make a recycled kitchen knife handle from plastic out of the Thames. I believe I was the first to do this and over the years other companies have bought my knives to copy and sell. The recycled handle lead to the recycled blade and then to the nitrous oxide blade.
I love making knives, but not at the environment's expense. Other makers and restaurants trying to be zero waste inspire me to make my own products as low-impact as possible. I want to create products that real chefs can afford, and constantly experiment with new materials and methods.
